Theresa Wiggs
​Theresa is from a creative family. Her mother was talented in many forms of crafts and her father was an accomplished oil painter specializing in portraits. She picked up a love of both crafts and art from her parents. While following her husband’s Naval career, Theresa turned her focus to attending college where she enjoyed taking art classes including design, photography and drawing, but in the end, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Human Resource Management. In 2003, Theresa took a class in stained-glass art through the Chesapeake Adult Education Program and has since enjoyed creating stained-glass art for her family, friends, and customers.  From 2017 – 2023, she became a stained-glass art instructor for the City of Chesapeake teaching adults and seniors.  Though not currently teaching, Theresa still creates stained-glass art both for fun and by commission. Theresa has branched out from stained-glass art and enjoys painting with acrylics and watercolors. She has shown and sold her art in shows through the Southside Artists Association and Chesapeake Bay Watercolorists. She is a member of the Virginia Watercolor Society. Theresa also built and maintains CBW’s website. ​
