Christian Williams
 Christian’s passion with art began in high school where he attended New Vistas School in Lynchburg, Virginia. He studied pastels, acrylics and mask making with Susan Crank and Roberta Schrivener.  He also attended pottery classes and watercolor classes with Mae Carter and Karen Bowden at the Fine Arts Center.  He enjoys many styles of art including the art of ventriloquism.  Christian attended the National Vent Haven Convention in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky in 2004 and 2005.  He has performed ventriloquism with his vent partner named Sonny Spurs at many small venues such as a rehearsal dinner, fashion show at the Villa Maria, and Harvest Outreach Center. Christian’s always enjoys the preforming arts like ventriloquism and puppetry.
 
Christian graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina with an Associates in Applied Sciences and Culinary Arts.  He moved back to Lynchburg, Virginia where he began his career as a Chef at Boonsboro Country Club.  He joined the Lynchburg Art Club in 2010. While a member he hung shows and coordinated the Lynchburg Art and Virginia Wine Show held at Boonsboro Country Club for 3 years. He coordinated with New Vistas School, James River Day School and Tomahawk Elementary School to gain National recognition for the Lynchburg Art Club to host the Art Build Bridges Art Show during National Youth Art Month in 2014.   
 
Christian has continuing his education in art by attending classes at the Central Virginia Community College in Art History and Graphic Design.  He has also recently taken classes in Landscape Watercolor with Solly Blank.  He has donated art to New Vistas School and to Cause Life for their Water Equals Life Fundraiser.  He also has donated his artwork to the Breast Cancer Awareness Garden in Lynchburg.
 
Christian has artwork displayed in permanent collections all over Central Virginia, such as Boonsboro Country Club,  E. C. Glass High School, Dr. office’s, and many private collectors have his artwork displayed in their homes.
               
Christian moved to Virginia Beach in 2015  to be closer to his family and to expand on his culinary and art career. He accepted a position as a chef at Atlantic Shores Retirement Community . in 2019, he accepted a position at Norfolk Public Schools in Child Nutrition. He is a Certified School Nutrition Specialist through the School Nutrition Association of Virginia. He is looking forward to continue his education in Child Nutrition and Development. Most recently , 2016-2019, Christin has displayed art in Richard Stravtiz Sculpture and Fine Art, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Charles Taylor Art Center in Hampton , Virginia. Christian was juried in as a exhibiting artist at the Virginia Beach Art Center ( home of the Artist Gallery) in Virginia Beach, He has chaired their  Spring Members Show for CBAA ( Chesapeake Bay Art Association) for three years along with displaying in their Ocean View Art Show.
