Cindy Lane Cindy Lane lives with her husband on a farm in Suffolk near the Great Dismal Swamp. She started painting with watercolors because she wanted to wallow in God's amazing colors, especially in the ever-changing sky. Her first paintings would have caused her to flunk kindergarten (although kindergartners are spectacular artists in her opinion). After taking a lot of classes through the Suffolk Art League with Barbara West, she started to get a little better. She has also attended quite a few week-long workshops both locally and in Boone, North Carolina at Cheap Joes. In the spring of 2020, she took a transformative watercolor class at TCC with Pamela Barcita. She continues to learn and paint and wallow in color.
