Angelica Suciu is a self-taught contemporary mixed media and watercolor artist based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. With a passion for capturing the beauty of nature and everyday moments, Angelica's work showcases a delicate interplay of vivid colors, inviting viewers to experience the world through her eyes.
Angelica holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, a master’s degree in special education and an Education Specialist degree with emphasis in leadership and school administrations. For the last 18 years she dedicated herself to a profession in education serving children with special needs. Currently she is serving as a Special Education Administrator in Virginia Beach.
Angelica’s artistic journey started 5 years ago and is characterized by a deep commitment to experimentation. Her unique technique blends traditional watercolor methods with innovative approaches, resulting in captivating compositions that evoke emotion and movement. Born and raised in a beautiful city in Transylvania, Romania, a lot of Angelica’s work depicts scenes from her home country to include landscapes, intricate florals, and intimate portraits, reflecting her fascination with the interplay between nature and human experience.
When she’s not painting, Angelica enjoys playing tennis, cooking and traveling with her life partner David.
